Thunderstruck was formed in spring 2005. Three of the five band members came from other AC/DC tribute bands and the other two members were seeking to start one. Thunderstruck is dead-on accurate in reproducing the sights and sounds of AC/DC, one of the greatest rock bands of all time. Lead guitarist Freddy DeMarco is the star of the show. A great Angus Young impersonator,his energy and electrifying guitar licks are incredible. Freddie gained his experience playing throughout the U.S.A. for numerous bands. Vocalist Scotty “Stinger” Stenglein is a fantastic front man who knows how to work the crowd, singing exactly like both Brian Johnson and Bon Scott. He has gigged with Wicked Lester, Fat Angus and Hells Bells. Bassist Michael Gatrell formerly of Central Ohio,Has Gigged in Various Cover and Blues bands for the last 27 years.Most recently from a now defunct AC/DC tribute Band Bon Voyage .Rhythm guitarist Steve Papes is a rock - his heavy, sturdy rhythm guitar chops are precise. Steve has played in and is the founding member of Bonfire. Drummer Mideo Octavio is an amazing, top-notch drummer, whose stadium-size beats and precise timing are awesome. Mideo has gigged with Wicked Lester and 21 south, and toured with JP Country. There are many AC/DC tribute bands who say they’re the best, but THUNDERSTRUCK can prove it. Once you see THUNDERSTRUCK you’ll agree they cannot be beat. Five members who started the best AC/DC tribute act in the world. This band is awesome!
